Intermediate Art Lessons

Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 90 minutes. Ages 7-9. THIS WEEK: This week we will explore sculpture for this mythical clay relief Medusa Head. Students will be guided through various application techniques to enhance their tactile skills and fine motor abilities by molding and shaping clay. The objective is to develop spatial awareness and learn about proportion as they create their clay models. Additionally, this project will boost creativity as students personalize their faces and snakes with a pop of color! Dress for a mess!
