About Aarika

My name is Aarika. I love helping others, meeting new people and I am a compassionate caregiver companion with experience serving chronically ill patients, including assisting with daily living activities and household tasks. I am patient, highly energetic, and skilled at managing schedules and keeping clients as active as possible, cooking, and reading. I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients' lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the chance to get to know clients and their families and become an integral part of their lives. This love of helping the elderly started when I attended Olivet Nazerene University and majored in Child psychology. While attending college, my grandparents became sick. Family means everything to me, so I decided to help my grandparents. My grandmother was suffering from a stroke, Dementia and diabetes. Her left side was paralyzed. My grandfather was fighting cancer, so I have years of experience with lifting to rise from a chair or toilet or get out of bed and Insulin treatments. I even help the elderly near me with any chores or errands if needed. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses.
