About Abbigail

I am a recent graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. I got my Bachelors in Theatre with a minor in early childhood education. I grew up with two younger brothers in Michigan prior to moving to New York. I began working with children as counselor in training at a YMCA summer camp in Michigan at the age of 13 and as a counselor until I was 18. Additionally, I have previously served as a the nanny of a boy (5) and girl (4) until I moved to NYC in the fall of 2017. I take a child-centered approach to babysitting. I will actively engage with children of all ages and ensure they have my absolute attention. I am kind, empathetic, compassionate and creative! I am eager to start working with kids again and am offering babysitting services for weekends, some holidays, over night, and weekdays. I can assist with light housework, am great with pets and will help your children with their online schooling or homework.

We hired Abbigail as our part time nanny, as both my husband and I work from home. We were so happy to find her! She has been very dependable, wonderful with our kids (ages 4 & 6), and very creative and fun with playtime activities. Would highly recommend Abbigail for nanny or babysitting opportunities.
