About Abigail

I had babysitting jobs sporadically throughout high school for friends & family and have always enjoyed spending time with kids! In the 2018-19 school year I volunteered with AmeriCorps in the Santa Cruz Reading Corps, where I was placed in a bilingual Preschool classroom to promote early literacy skills. Through this program I also received training in early education techniques as well as social-emotional development. I loved my time in the classroom and valued the friendships I made with all of the kids so much! I stayed around Santa Cruz the following summer to work at a day camp for ages 5 -12. From 2019-20, I lived in Germany working as an Au Pair. I lived with a German family and helped out with their two children (3yo & newborn in June 2020) and helped the 3yo learn some English! After returning home, I worked through the past winter/spring as a full time nanny/tutor for 3 children age 4-5 in Providence. I am now looking for short term or one-time babysitting jobs!
