About Adonista

Originally from Jersey, and recently graduated from Howard University. I loved Washington D. C., but those high rent prices did not love me. I've been working with kids since I was a kid! I am first generation, born two Sierra Leonean parents. In our culture, everyone takes care of everyone, thus, I often found myself being volunteered to babysit my little cousins. In previous years, I worked as a counselor for the Lawnside Recreation Program. Throughout an entire summer, my co-counselor and I managed a class of 30 2nd and 3rd graders. Alongside my co-counselor, I organized trips, created lesson plans, and encouraged their creativity through arts and crafts. I'm charismatic, goal-oriented, and open-minded. Witnessing young people's self-discovery is beautiful, and I believe in providing them with grace and wisdom for growth. On my free time I love attending outings like NFL games and concerts!
