For the majority of my working years I have worked serving people and their needs. That is the type of work I enjoy the most. Previously I worked as a care worker for the elderly. My experience includes personal care, cleaning and organizing their homes, running errands and meal preparation. In addition I realized how important it was to spend time with my clients talking with them and developing close relationships with them. I very much enjoyed my job working closely with my elderly clients and grew to call them friends. In addition I have spent the last 11 years running my own day care which many of the skills I had taking care of the elderly I carried over in taking care of children as well. I enjoy helping others and this type of work brings me great satisfaction.
