About Aiya

Being around the younger generation is what really inspires me. I learn from them everyday and being around them there is never a dull moment. For a full time job, I work as an program member. I work with high school students who have low attendance and are on the verge of dropping out. My job is to figure out what is stopping them from coming to school and how we can get them to attend school. Also, I am very involved with after-school activities at the school I work at and have tutored the students in many subjects. My job as a babysitter is not just to sit there and watch your kid, it is to interact with them, connect with them, and have a positive impact on the child/family. I would be more than happy to do crafts, take them to the park, ice cream, etc. I have played ice hockey ever since I was 6 years old so I could even teach them how to skate!
