About Akuot

My journey into caregiving began through my previous babysitting roles, and raising 4 of my moms kids. I'm motivated by the desire to make a positive impact on kids lives and to provide reliable support for families. With years of experience, I'm confident in my ability to care for up to four children of various ages, from infants to preteens. I believe in fostering open communication with parents and always follow their preferred method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or regular updates via text or phone calls. As for my personality, I'm patient, calm, and friendly, yet formal and reserved when the situation calls for it. I prioritize safety and follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules! Most of my time I spend with children specifically my siblings and I drive them to and from school, work, games, etc. everyday. I've never been in any kind of car accident! I'm currently a freshman in college working on my pre-reqs for nursing school
