Hi, my name is Alana. I'm 19 years old and going into my second year of college at Widener University, but I'm back home in Lancaster County for the summer! In addition to babysitting I work part time at Old Navy. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, clever, and funny. I like working with kids because they make me laugh! And in those tougher moments, I love to listen and make sure each child feels heard and understood. I started working with kids when I was 14 volunteering in the Church daycare and began babysitting on and off for family friends and neighbors for the next 5 years. In my spare time, I love to read books, write short stories and poetry, go to the gym, hike, ride bikes, listen to music, sing, and go swimming in my pool!
