About Alexa

I am a patient, determined college student with all of my education courses complete. I was a student teacher last fall where I was able to completely take over a 3rd grade classroom. My students and I created a strong pedagogical relationship allowing for a trusting environment. I have been working with children since I was 15 and now 21. I started off babysitting my neighbors children who were 3 years old and a 6 months old. Since then I have babysat children from ages 2-12. I have a passion for helping people and hope to do so in my future career. Otherwise a little about me I love nature and am always ready to go for a hike or just spend some time outside. I was always an athlete growing up and love to spend my free time going for runs as well as playing in any pick up field hockey game I can. I am a creative person who loves crafting and any sort of hands on art.
