About Alexa

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, adventurous, kind. I like working with kids because they are so curious and love to explore/learn! It's incredible to see them learn new things and get to be silly together! I love playing games and teaching them about animals and the natural world as well! I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. My first job was babysitting my 4-year-old cousin and since then I have worked for other friends and family as well! Throughout highschool and college I worked as a camp counselor with kids ages 5-12. Currently I am a pediatric speech language pathologist and my passion for kids continues to grow! In my spare time, I like to hike and explore the smokies as well as bike ride on the greenways! I also enjoy reading, baking and going to watch the Ice Bears play! One thing you should know about me is I am dedicated to the safety of all children above all. Currently CPR certified and have been open water lifeguard certified in the past.
