About Alexandra

Hello! I live in the Baltimore area with my husband and am looking to continue my career working with children. I am a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Elementary Education, certified in Maryland. Given the opportunity, I know I can provide the care and services you need and then some. I have 4 years experience with school age children and the public school system. I student taught during the day, then lead the before school and after school programs where I mentored students, tutored and assisted with homework. For three years, I worked in a family focused environment at a private early learning school where I worked with children ages six weeks to five years. I really enjoyed working with parents to ensure their children's educational success as well as being there to accommodate to their individual family needs, those which also exceeded beyond the curriculum. For the past two years, I returned to teaching school age students at a tutoring center. This has allowed me to give students the one on one attention each child deserves. In addition to tutoring, I currently work with a family as caregiver for their toddler during the week where we explore outdoors and prepare for preschool with educational activities.
