About Alexandra

Hi! My name is Alexandra, though I go by Alex. I have been working with kids for over 10 years now, beginning as a sitter when I was 13. From ages 15-20 I worked at a church preschool in Glen Ellen as an aide for two pre-school aged girls. During this time, I worked closely with a few different families as a frequent babysitter/nanny, three of those families being long-term. I am currently 24 and working towards becoming a social worker, as well as hoping to foster kids at some point in my life. My goal as both a social worker and foster parent is to be able to provide children with a safe place to land. Much like in my future career, it is very important to me to be able to connect with children and families to work towards the goal of a steady and trusting relationship. Aside from working with kids, I have also done some housesitting and pet sitting for families that I worked with.
