Hi, my name is Alex! I am a licensed EMT and a nursing student at Georgia Highlands with a deep-rooted passion for nurturing children's growth and development. My journey into caregiving began as a babysitter for my cousins, nieces and nephews. I discovered my knack for fostering a safe and nurturing environment for kids. I have a patient and calm demeanor, combined with my gentle and kind-nature, allows me to connect with children easily. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, ensuring that they receive regular updates about their child's day and any issues that arise. I prefer to follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, as I believe in respecting their parenting style. When it comes to playtime, I enjoy engaging children in board games, puzzles, and educational games that stimulate their learning. I have experience working at a Daycare, and I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging from infants to preteens.
