About Alexa

Over the last 25 years, in addition to raising my own 3 children, I've been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to provide quality childcare for many others as both an in-home provider and as a teacher. I've worked with children of all ages and with a variety of families, each with different schedules and needs. I believe that there is nothing more important than helping children explore, learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. I love showing up to work each day with a unique book or activity to dive into with the kids. My background in Art Education practically requires me to share my love of making! I enjoy getting the kids out and about too. I love cooking and am comfortable with light housework as well. When I think back on all the children I've cared for over the years (some in their 30s now!) I feel so honored to have played a positive role in their formative years. I look forward to building more memories and relationships with new families in the future.
