About Alexis

Hi there! I have 5 younger siblings and I am the oldest in my family so I've been around little kids my whole life! I started babysitting for families when I was 13 and still babysit for the same families today, along with new ones. Last year I spent a year in a kindergarten classroom helping aid in whatever the teacher needed as well as fostering connections with all of the kiddos. I was in the classroom through my membership to Youth AmeriCorps which also required me to spend a day teaching to groups of 2nd and 3rd graders about safety. I am a full time college student at Penn State Behrend. I am studying psychology with a focus in child development to maybe one day become a school psychologist or even a family therapist. On campus I am involved in many clubs, one being Thon. I am involved in the special events committee which hosts all of the events for Thon. I love being involved and hands on so it was a perfect fit! I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
