About Allie

Hello all! My name is Allie and I would love to work with a family who I can invest in and build a sustaining relationship with. I have been caring for children for 15 years in various capacities and come from a large family myself. I started studying for a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and have spent several years working in schools as well as social work. I thrive in family oriented environments and getting to learn new people and their stories! Some of my other favorite interests include hiking and anything that involves the outdoors, reading, cooking and hosting friends. My desire is to integrate compatibly in a home and bring flexibility, consistency, a passion for life and growth, and to be deeply compassionate and nurturing. My hope would be that any family I spend time with would be better connected to themselves and each other and thrive in their lives as a result.
