About Allison

I'd describe my personality as energetic, kind, and patient. I like working with kids because it helps me to prepare for my goal job of being a children's licensed clinical social worker. I started working with kids when I was 12 years old. I'm the second oldest of 7 siblings, so I've been babysitting my siblings for a long time. Because of my experience babysitting my siblings, people from my community began reaching out and I started to get some paying jobs. I used to babysit consistently in high school and now I've taken occasional jobs since graduating that fit my work schedule. One thing you should know about me is I was raised in a foster and adoptive family and this has equipped me to be able to care for children with various backgrounds. I have experience working with kids different disabilities like autism or FASD. I also have a little brother who used to use a G-tube for supplemental food, so I am experienced in working with children who have feeding issues.
