About Alyssa

I have been privileged to craft a career working to empower and educate young people. I have experience working with youth ages 3-18 in a variety of settings, including summer camps, schools, and after-school programming. In my full time role, I serve as the Program Director at a nonprofit providing crisis counseling, advocacy, and education services. In this role, I often provide trainings for adults on trauma-informed care, including how to model consent and healthy boundaries with youth. These are my core values. I believe that families deserve a reliable caregiver that they trust, and that youth deserve adults who respect and listen to them. I believe that consistency is important and that childcare should be similar across all adults. I believe in creating environments for young people that are fun and safe. In addition to childcare, I am willing to help with tasks like cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I look forward to meeting you!
