I became a caregiver because I have a passion for kids. Being the oldest of 18 cousins, I've grown up helping raise my younger cousins, all while watching them thrive and succeed. I am a child at heart, so I like to spend most of my time with children. Children are funny and I like to be a role model and set an example for growing children. I'm full of ideas and can definitely keep your child entertained. Your child will likely become my best friend, and I take care of those close to me. In high school, I spent 3 hours every day as a childcare provider in the After School Program. I also spent three summers working 50 hours a week at a summer camp in Seekonk, MA. I have my own car and have experience driving children on multiple occasions.

We are from NY and traveled to Rhode Island over Memorial Day weekend where we needed a sitter for one night. I was really nervous hiring a sitter to stay with our 4 year old and a friends child in a hotel of a city, of which we were not familiar. Amanda set my mind at ease. We had a lovely video chat beforehand to discuss the arrangements and expectations of the evening. She was prompt in responding to text messages. Amanda did a wonderful job with the kids and always responded to my messages i found her very responsible. I really liked Amanda and will definitely hire her again if we ever travel to Rhode Island.
