About Amanda

Hello My name is Amanda and I am looking for a part time tutoring position or a summer babysitting position. I am an elementary school librarian in the Syracuse City School District. I have an undergraduate degree in communication studies, and a Masters degree in Library Media Sciences. Prior to becoming a school librarian, I spent four years as a teaching assistant. I have experience working with children with a variety of disabilities, and have worked in special Ed inclusion classrooms, and self contained classrooms . I am very comfortable working with children of all ages, attending to academic needs and recreational activities. I have my own vehicle and am an experienced driver. I know my way around a kitchen am able to prepare meals if necessary. I also love animals and would be more than willing to help out with pets. I am happy to provide references upon request. I love working with kids and am looking forward to talking more with you about a possible position with your family!
