About Amanda

Hi there! My name is Amanda and I am currently a full-time wish manager with Make-A-Wish Foundation, but expecting my first baby in September! I am planning on taking my 12 weeks of maternity leave, but considering leaving my full-time job after that in order to stay home with our little one. I'd love to consider a role where I can provide childcare for another family at my own home in the Longmont/Berthoud area 2-3 days a week while caring for my own child simultaneously. I have lots of experience working with kids with a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies, a master's degree in Child Life from Texas Woman's University, and over 13 years of experience as a nanny, a preschool teacher, a religious education teacher, a lifeguard, a registered behavioral therapist (RBT), AND a wish manager!
