I am certified to teach grades K-8, and am currently a 4th/5th grade teacher living in Saco. I majored in Elementary Education in college, and I also have a Masters in Bilingual and Multicultural Education. I lived abroad in Madrid, Spain for 3 years while teaching English to Spanish-speaking students. I also speak Spanish and would be happy to teach students about the language and culture. I have a lot of experience tutoring students one-on-one in different subjects. I am going into my 6th year as an upper-elementary school teacher here in Maine. I have taught all of the core subjects, and would feel comfortable tutoring students in middle or high school as well. I am happy to tutor students 1:1 or in pairs/small groups. I can tutor in person at your house or mine, at a public place like the library, or we can connect virtually if you would prefer. I am looking to work part time over the summer and balance my vacation time with some extra work.
