About Amanda

I recently graduated from Montclair State with my bachelors in psychology with a minor in child advocacy and policy. I have two younger siblings that are 6 and 8 years younger than me that I had to babysit, alongside other family members children. I love working with children and children also love me which is why all my family member always ask me to watch their kids. I'm currently a lead teacher at a preschool where I work with children between the ages of 2-3. I was previously an assistant teacher during my undergrad. I also have experience working with children with disabilities , during my undergraduate years I was a research assailant in a spatial ability lab working with children with down syndrome for almost 2 years. I like working with kids because I love nurturing them and watching them grow into their own little personalities. It's a very fulfilling job which is why I like it. My skills include being patient, good communication skills, and creativity.
