About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as goal oriented, adaptable, and passionate. I like working with kids because it gives the opportunity to positively influence social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Giving them the opportunity to learn and grow. I love being able to have a positive impact on children's lives and being able to form relationships with the children and families. I started working with kids 5 years ago, when I was 18! I did a lot of babysitting and nannying, and when I was 21 I started working at a NAYCE accredited school for early childhood education. Currently on my 3rd year here. In my spare time, I dedicate a lot of time to reading, spending quality time with my friends and family. My friends and family is the backbone to everything for me. My skills include decision-making, good communicative skills to provide directions and information effectively, and good judgment.
