About Amaya

If I could only pick three words to describe myself, I would choose observant, hardworking, and flexible. I am always highly in tune and watchful of my surroundings, I'm always willing to put my all into what I do, and I can comfortably and patiently adapt to unfamiliar settings and/or circumstances. I like working with kids because it's enjoyable, interesting, and rewarding to be able to learn about each individual kid's personality and strengths, and how they differ from others. They all have curious minds and it's fun to hear about their inquiries and to be able to help leave a positive impact on them that will reflect in their future. I grew up helping raise my younger brother from birth at the age of 10. I've also helped babysit and take care of younger cousins between the ages of 8mnths-9years old. In my spare time you can typically find me either spending time out with my friends, outside in nature, or enjoying downtime in my room reading or playing one of my instruments!
