About Amber

Originally worked in a creative industry but moved into teaching in my early 20's. I've worked in various settings and several countries amassing over 15 years of experience with children as an Au pair, English Teacher, Pre-school educator, Nanny, and Governess. I've tutored in play-based language acquisition and ESL as well as incorporating French or Italian into our activities. My approach aligns most with child led learning and inquiry based teaching. I support SEL, Montessori at home, and Reggio Emilia inspired approaches for education and community building. I love my work with toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary children where children follow their interests and develop early literacy skills and strong communication.
