About Amelia

Dementia & Alzheimer's caregiver. I received my memory care training at the Institute on Aging, where I acquired the skills to support cognitive impairment and independence throughout aging. I then transitioned into in-home and private caregiving in memory-care facilities for clients with dementia diagnoses. I received my degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco, with directed training in memory care, neuroscience, and disability services. Outside of being a memory caregiver, you will find me working on my certification to be a midwife's assistant, caregiving for kids with different abilities, or spending time in Golden Gate Park. With my memory clients, I love to go on walks around the neighborhood if ability allows, read stories and books, dance to music, wander farmers markets, explore art museums, or make the most of a day conversing indoors! I am open to bringing on weekly clients who are looking for companionship. Let me know how I can support your family!
