Hello my name is Ameny. A little about me? I have been a professional child care provider for about 12 years now. I have worked as a family nanny/babysitter and have worked for many day cares as their lead infant room teacher and assistant teacher. I'm a very hands on, interactive, loving care giver. My goal with any child in my care is to provides happy childhoods. Presently I am a paraprofessional for a steppingstones group and love, helping my students reach their full potential. I'm also happy to say that I recently became a certified nursing assistant in the state of New Jersey and I'm currently in school to pursue a career in becoming a child life specialist. I always make sure the kids in my care are having fun and learning at the same time and of course I'm CPR certified. I would love to offer my services in anyway possible. Ameny has become like part of our family. She took care of our 9-year-old daughter and 4-year-old Autistic son after school for a year. She was amazing to work with. She was reliable, always on time, and let us know in advance if she was not able to come. She was so affectionate with my son, who is slow to warm up to people, and within a few days he was looking forward to seeing her and running to give her hugs. She was aware of the special needs of Autistic children, and was very competent at handling any meltdowns, keeping him safe even when out in public (he tends to wander away), and keeping him engaged. She helped us potty train him, and also took care of him overnight while we were away for the weekend - which we've never trusted anyone outside the family to do before! Ameny also bonded with my 9-year-old daughter, reliably picked her up after school, and managed her and often her friends who were over to play. Overall I can't recommend Ameny enough!
