About Amia

Hi, my name is Amia. I am a fun, focused, and engaging tutor with one year experience in tutoring and four years experience in childcare. I have tutored both on a volunteer and paid basis. I joined the tutoring ministry at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church where I was assigned one sixth grade student to tutor and assist throughout the entirety of the academic year. I met with and tutored my student two hours every week in Math, Science, Spanish, Social Studies, and Reading Comprehension. I also have been paid to tutor for a family with two daughters (one in tenth grade and the other in eighth). I tutored them in Math, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, and provided Test Prep. I studied Spanish for five years in high school and actively speak it at home. Currently I aid in the distance learning of three children (second and fifth grade).
