I am a 2006 graduate from Purdue University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have an Indiana K-6 Elementary General license, Reading license, and 12 graduate hours in Gifted & Talented coursework from Purdue. I have held several roles in education, both as a classroom teacher in an urban setting, several instructional assistant roles, and for 12 years, supervised our state's first Parks & Recreation led Before & After School program in an elementary school. In this role, I managed a staff of up to 10 for up to 150 students daily with a wide variety of needs; during the summer, the role transitioned to supervising a STEM-based science camp, where I developed all curriculum each summer. In addition to my passion for working with students and the field of education, I enjoy cooking, reading, playing board games, and exploring my new city of Boston!
