About Amy

In high school, I attended a two year long program for health careers at the Loguidice Center in Fredonia, NY. Throughout my junior and senior year of high school I was able to achieve some clinical experience at a nursing home in Fredonia. I helped feed residents, pick up lunch trays and count meal intakes, encourage residents when it was needed, be there for support, and help with personal care. As of August of 2023, I have been a certified nursing assistant at my local nursing home. Working there I gained much more knowledge about the tasks of a CNA. I have gained unbreakable bonds with these residents. More specifically, I have worked on a dementia/behavioral unit for a few months. Working on a dementia/ behavioral unit I learned many things. Things such as everyday was going to be something new so I am determined to make their days a little extra special by having fun, while assisting them with their activities of daily living.
