I'm a 73-year-old retiree, fully functional. I've had cats or dogs all my life and when my kids were young, we had frogs, snakes, birds, and anoles. I took care of all of them. I currently have a cat who has medical issues including diabetes, and I give her shots twice a day. So I'm not skittish about that. She takes pills also which I crush up in her food and fortunately that works. I do know how to pill a cat, but honestly, I'd be a bit nervous with a cat who doesn't know me. I'd give it a try, though! I can't bring any animals to my home, but I'm happy to come to yours and help you out should you need it.
