About Anaraquel

Hello, I'm Ana! I'd describe my personality as caring, noble, and gentle. I like working with kids because they bring joy & enthusiasm. My favorite books as a kid were Little House on the Prairie and Nancy Drew. I'm from Oregon, but my husband and I decided to move to Spokane starting summer 2024. I'm working on starting a nutrition business. I like dancing & reading about nutritional science. I love nature and spending time with my husband & 2 pets. I worked in the nonprofit & higher education industry for 8 years as a marketing professional. I decided to put that on pause to pursue my passions: nutrition & working w/ kids. During my college years, I worked as a tutor with 5 - 9-year-olds at a Catholic school. I was a summer counselor for high schoolers. I also worked with Italian students of all ages to teach them English when I studied abroad. My child care skills include being patient, kind, & rational. I believe kids should be immersed in nature everyday. I speak Spanish, too!
