About Anastasia

Hello, my name is Anastasia. I am a college student pursuing a degree in child psychology. I love the responsibility & creativity that comes with working with kids. Delving into their world of make-believe, seeing them light up when they understand something that's been a challenge, & seeing a smile grow as they tell me all about their day are some of the things that make me excited to work with children. I especially enjoy seeing what games they come up with, and following their lead. I feel like it gives the children a sense of self & belonging to have an adult truly interested in their thoughts, feelings & ideas. I began babysitting my sister when I was in middle school and found that I was especially good at creating fun games to help her learn schoolwork that she found frustrating. Throughout high school, I babysat for friends of my parents. I currently work in child care at a local gym. CPR certified, pet friendly, non-smoker, homework help, reliable transportation.
