About Andrea

I have been doing elder care and home health for 6 years but have a medical background that spans about 30. I've worked as both an EMT and a medical assistant. I have experience with memory and hospice care. I also work as a medical advocate to ensure my clients are respected, treated fairly and are given the best options and treatment available. Healthcare can be difficult and confusing to navigate, especially for those who live far away from their aging or ill parent. I can schedule and attend appts., manage meds, assist with ADL's, PT, as well as meal planning & prep, dishes, laundry, bathing and dressing assistance too. If needed, I can assess home for safety, accessibility and ease of mobility. If so desired and client is able; I will also transport to the beach, library, hobbies and social events. It is difficult to give up our independence as we get older. I will strive to make this stage of your loved ones life a safe, comfortable, positive, fun and rewarding time.
