I have been taking care of elderly people most of my life. I have been married to my high school boyfriend for 28 years. We have 2 boys 23 and 18. My mom was paralyzed (quadriplegic) when I was 13 years. We used "two man" transfer with a slide board and mechanical lift to get her in & out of bed and the car. She primarily used a Foley catheter, but at times used intermittent catheter. I am familiar with using and changing both. My father was in an accident when I was 19 that left him with a traumatic brain injury. I was a stay-at-home mom raising my boys until September of 2019. I went to work taking care of my elderly neighbor until she passed in March of 2022 while on Hospice care. I helped her with bathing, dressing, medication management (including insulin), meal planning & prep, transportation to & from her doctors appointments, along with errands, and light housekeeping. I am organized, very schedule minded, and a good multi-tasker. CPR, First Aid, AED certified
