I have experience taking care of my mom who has MS (Multiple Sclerosis) which is a nerve disease and potentially starts to attack the brain and spine causing lesions forcing you to not be able to do the normal activities. I assist her with taking her medication, when she has episodes where her walking isn't too good I get her where she needs to go and do what I have to do for her that she can't do for herself. I take her to and from appointments and make sure when prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy she picked them up or I'll do it for her. When she gets admitted into the hospital I'll take her personals and be her company and comfort her for as long as I can and when she gets discharged I'll pick her up. We also go to casinos, movies, out to dinner and etc. to take her mind off of the pain and have some fun. I don't mind at all helping someone in need especially my elders they need us the most.
