About Anita

Hello! I have been working in education for over 16 years in various roles including a teachers assistant, behavior therapist assistant, after school program director, and now in my current role as an Impact teacher at a middle school at a local school district. With that, I have K-12th grade experience, but most specifically in grades K-8th, and am comfortable in all subject areas! I have experience working with students of various needs, backgrounds, and goals, such as general education, special education, autism, and RSP. On a personal level, I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, and Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an emphasis in Counseling Psychology and Educational leadership. I have a 13-year-old daughter in the 8th grade, and in my spare time I enjoy concerts, baseball games, music, trying new restaurants, and coffee shops.
