About Anna

I am a second year student at Boston University School of Law pursing a career in healthcare and elder law. I have been a caregiver for both my great grandparents and my father for many years and would love to continue helping others. As a caregiver for my great grandparents, I gained vast experience within nursing homes, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, and hospice. My responsibilities included assisting with eating, housekeeping, and other activities of daily living. Additionally, I assisted in managing their health conditions, treatments, and finances. Similarly, over the past two years I have been a caregiver for my father who suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's disease and a Traumatic Brain Injury. Here, in addition to assisting with his daily needs, I developed tools to mitigate risks surrounding his loss of memory, language, and cognition while maximizing his independence.
