Hello all! I'm a veterinary assistant with 10 years of comprehensive experience caring for animals of many shapes and sizes. I have been in an ER environment for 4 years now, and I am Fear Free certified (low-stress handling) and RECOVER CPR certified, with the intent to become certified as a RECOVER rescuer. RECOVER techniques are evidence based methods in hopes of producing the best outcome in the event of cardiopulmonary arrest. I also take a particular interest in cats, but am very comfortable with dogs, horses, and some farm animals as well! I started working with animals when I was just a child as I grew up on a farm. I entered the veterinary workforce in 2014 and have worked in many different veterinary hospitals, including general practice, all the way to emergency and specialty practice.
