There are those that love children. Especially the little ones. Often they want to hold , cuddle, baby talk and give smiles to them. It is hard not to smile at a little one. Then, there are those that not only love children, but respect them. Regardless of their age, all children have a certain individuality that deserves to be guided, enhanced and molded. Respecting a child as their own person is what makes a good teacher, caregiver, partner to families raising their children. This is where I come in. Ever since my mother took me to get my babysitting license at the age of 13, I have always had this connection with children. From my family, friends or even a perfect stranger who's child just comes up to me, I have been known as the one that "gets children." Not only do I understand their development, but I also see the world through their eyes at every age from birth -teen years. Although my specialty ages are birth-5, I easily adapt to any age.
