I have worked at a daycare for the past year, and have been a lead teacher there for 3-3. 5-year-old for the past 6 months. I have worked with kids between the ages of 0-8, though I am not as comfortable with infants. Working there has taught me how to provide a nurturing environment for children, physically, cognitively, and emotionally. I enjoy having fun with the kids by playing outside, reading books, playing pretend, making crafts, and just simply talking with them. I have learned how to have patience, and how to deal with strong emotions by caring for 6-10 kids who all have big/amazing personalities. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am currently working on my CDA classes.
