I'd describe my personality as funny, nice, and patient. I like tutoring because as a biology major, I always required extra help due to the rigorous course that comes with the major. I know how important it is to seek outside sources to help students succeed in their courses. I'm looking for a job that is part time in which I can help with the progress in the students school work at a timely manner. I haven't officially tutored anyone but I helped many of my peers in undergrad to help memorize certain materials which helped them increase their exam scores. I've done this for about two years and many of my peers have stated that they have done better in exams as I taught them and quizzed them on the material. One thing about me me is that I'm really nice and understanding. Many people say they feel safe and welcomed with me which I believe is a good quality to have as a tutor. My skills include coming up with mnemonics, patience, and encouragement.
