About Ariel

Greetings. I do not wear a cape, my cookies don't always come out soft, and sometimes we might have to freestyle that Lego design. BUT... Creating a nurturing/safe environment, engaging children in fun learning activities/skills that align with their interests and needs, and/or just simply being present to listen, support, and encourage, is what I strive to do my best in! I earned a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and worked for a few years in that setting. Years later, I switched to Education where I then earned a Master's in Education with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood. I have worked as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, teacher assistant, and now, teacher. While I do spend more time in the classroom these days, I still enjoy babysitting, nannying, and tutoring during my off- time (weekends, evenings, and summers). I am a non-smoker, CPR/First Aid certified, and possess a valid license and safe transportation. I hope to be a great addition to a great family in need!
