About Arlene

I have worked with seniors for many years in different capacities. Started out as a nursing assistant many years ago before working as a home health aide for 8 yrs. I currently am an LPN and have worked with a varied settings, with my last position as a staff nurse at the Lathrop Home in Northampton, Ma. Responsible for the care and comfort of 20-32 residents on the census at any given time, passing medications, wound care, resident teaching, frequent contact with Physicians/Pharmacy. Maintain all records for accuracy, completeness and confidentiality. I have worked with a spectrum of individuals from infants to elderly. I am passionate about senior care because it gives me great satisfaction when I am able to help facilitate their ability to remain in their homes while receiving care. I like to listen to their life stories, concerns, questions and teaching about the conditions affecting them. I have a special interest in behavioral health and hospice care.
