About Ashleigh

I grew up always having a caring nature and it carried on to my adult life. When I was a teenager I loved animals as well and volunteered on multiple occasions as a pet/animal sitter for neighbors and friends who went out of town. Amid my love for animals I had a baby brother at the time and my favorite thing to do was spend time with him playing outside, doing arts and crafts. Soon after I found out about a place in my town called Down Home Ranch which housed down syndrome adults and I applied to work there as a weekend resident assistant, I stayed at that job for three years until I moved out of Austin to San Antonio. Over three years now I have had experience caring for two dementia adults and I have learned so much from the experience! My experience includes, driving, appointment keeping, medication, housekeeping, companionship, occasional cooking, grocery shopping and pet care. I have a 2yr old daughter and a 4mo old son. It would be ideal to find a job where I can bring my kids.
