About Ashley

Hi, my name is Ashley! I'm a former preschool teacher in Chattanooga, TN. I love working with children, obviously! I now work as a surgery assistant at a skin cancer clinic. I enjoy helping out families and making sure children feel safe and have fun while their parents are out. I'm open to discussing a full time position! I used to nanny full time for several years. Some of my duties included: Taking the children to appointments and extracurricular activities, pick up from school, laundry, organize different areas of the house, dishes, sweeping, and any other tasks that need to be completed. I also meal prepped for the children. I have a lot of experience with newborns as well. I try to include fun activities as well! I enjoy taking the kids to the parks, pool, and going for walks. I create crafts and sensory activities. I follow more of a Montessori style approach to activities, so that the kids can learn while also having fun!
