About Autumn

I like working with kids because I'm being paid to have a good time. I still enjoy the simple games in life like board games, tag, puzzles, and more. I understand there are times to be serious, such as homework, and also that those moments can be less intense for the child if we find ways to make it more interesting. I also find enjoyment in hearing children talk about the world around them. As adults we tend to forget to appreciate some of the simple things we loved as children. In my spare time, I like to play video games, play with my pets, play my instruments, go hiking, and read. I'm also currently trying to learn to bake and cook better as well as gardening! One thing you should know about me is that I value honesty and asking what may seem to be "silly" questions over my own personal feelings. Everyone's safety is more important than seeming knowledgeable. My skills include redirection, emotional support, and adaptability.
