About Ava

I absolutely love to work with children and support this next generation. I am a believer in the forest-school model and I think that spending as much time as we can learning from nature and alongside the children is so important to our collective wellness. For this reason, this summer I have been working as an outdoor educator for the Crest at Willow Witt farm in Ashland, OR. I know from experience that every child is unique and I do my best to meet them where they are with loving presence and encouragement. I am creative, imaginative, and intelligent and will always put your child's safety first. For years I served as a camp counselor and worked as a nanny. After graduating college, I began working with children with developmental disabilities. Most recently my experience has been in post-partum family care, and outdoor education.
